Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Moran. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Alexander, a brother Joseph Moran Jr. and a sister Margaret Perrotta of NY; and brother-in-law Robert Alexander of NY.
Mrs. Alexander retired as a military club manager after thirty years of service.
Survivors include sons Dennis J. Alexander and Kevin M. Alexander; daughters Linda A. Steele and husband Robert and Debra A. Scott all of Virginia Beach; Barbara A. Munden and husband John of Norfolk; seven grandchildren Billy, Thomas, and Elizabeth Scott, Ian and Kyle Alexander, Mary Munden and Andrew Davis; three great granddaughters Josie Scott, Lily Scott and Malaya Alexander; three sisters, Joan Massey of FL; Frances Tilley of Virginia Beach; and Kathleen Grant of New York and a sister-in-law, Nancy Schmidt.
Services will be private.
