Frederick E. Perry

Frederick Elijah Perry, 64, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2017. Frederick, a native of the Philadelphia area, had distinguished careers in the United States Navy, Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Department and Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Frederick was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Perry; his mother, Blanche Perry; and his father, Elijah Perry. Frederick is survived by his two daughters, Andrea Perry and Lynnette Perry; his son, Frederick Perry, II; his daughter-in-law, Domonique Perry; his future son-in-law, Eric Gillard; three grandchildren, Nhayim, Jaelin and Sameerah; and a host of close family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your local Disabled American Veterans chapter.
