Mrs. Miranda was born in Baguio City, Philippines. She was preceded in death by her husband Luciano Miranda and three brothers. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fil-Am Bayanihan, UIAT and the Baguio Association.
Survivors include a daughter, Nellie P. Navarrete and husband Bruce; three grandchildren Paul E. Navarrete, Toni L. Barnes and Tracy L. Reyes; four great grandchildren Avery Barnes, Alexander Navarrete, Erica Navarrete and James N. Lapid.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1, 2016 1:30 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
