Margarita Almuite Antolin, a woman of deep faith, diligent service, and boundless love for her family, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 84.
Born on May 19, 1941, in the Philippines, Margarita’s early career showcased her sharp mind and technical skill as a radio telegraph operator. After moving to Norfolk, she dedicated many years of service as an accounting clerk for the Armed Forces Staff College. Never one to stop learning, she also took pride in completing her training in barbering, demonstrating a lifelong spirit of curiosity and practical skill.
A devout member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Margarita’s life was guided by her devotion to God and her community. She served with distinction as a member of the Legion of Mary, where her leadership and compassion touched many lives within the parish.
Margarita was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alfredo and Rosario Almuite; her cherished husband, Rodolfo C. Antolin; and her son, Rodolfo A. Antolin Jr.
She leaves behind a vibrant legacy of family, survived by:
• Her Children: Virgilio (Sally), Teresita (Rolando), and Ronald (Cheryl), along with her daughter-in-law, Trinidad.
• Eight Grandchildren: Sean (Brandy), Kurt, Abigail, Michael (Nikka), Teresa, Alyssa, Simone, and Saige.
• Two Great-Grandchildren: Grayson and Addison.
Margarita will be remembered for her steadfast strength, her quiet wisdom, and the unwavering devotion she held for her family and her faith.

A visitation will be held at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA, 23462, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Christian Wake Service at 5:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Pius X Catholic Church, 7800 Halprin Dr, Norfolk, VA, 23518, on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 am by Father Sean Prince.
A graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Virginia, 23502.
