Mokayah "Kai" Miracle Brooks, age 19, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2022. Mokayah was born February 4, 2003. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Frank James.
Kai graduated from Kempsville High School, Class of 2021. He was a full time student at Tidewater Community College. He enjoyed the Stock Market, always looking to buy and sell stocks as well as trading Forex. He loved sunrise and sunsets and nature.
Survivors include his parents, Deldelker B. James and Osayande Brooks, maternal grandparents Marion Stay, paternal grandparent, Dorita Brooks; beloved sisters, Felicia, Shamona and Khali; brothers Kashiff, Akil, Ricky; niece Melahni; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and best friends Shawn, William, Nick, Gino and his adorable Storm.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home.
