Virginia Beach – Noel Alquiros Agustin, 54, went to the Lord peacefully on March 4, 2025.
Born on January 1, 1971, in Brooklyn, New York, to Oscar and Lourdes Agustin, Noel was a
devoted son, brother, husband, and friend. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Norfolk
and attended ATI in Virginia Beach. For the past 25 years, he dedicated his professional career to
the engineering firm of Speight, Marshall & Francis, where he served as a Structural Engineering
Technician and IT Manager.
Noel is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 25 years, Jelwyn; his father, Oscar Canlas
Agustin; his brothers, Oliver (Justin) Agustin and Emil (Melanie) Agustin; his cherished niece,
Mariana; and a large, loving, and supportive extended family in Hampton Roads, across the U.S.,
and in the Philippines. He is predeceased by his mother, Dr. Lourdes Alquiros Agustin.
Noel was often seen working on his cars, fishing or just spending time with Jelwyn, his family,
friends and his dogs. His kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will
be missed and deeply cherished..
The family will receive visitors for a viewing on Wednesday, March 12, from 4:00–8:00 PM pm
at Smith and Williams Funeral Home/Kempsville on Princess Anne Rd in Virginia Beach. A
novena prayer will be held at 4:30 pm during the viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Ascension on Thursday, March 13, at 1:00 PM. Livestreaming will be available through https://www.ascensionvb.org/ and will be active five minutes prior to the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, Noel’s family requests that donations be made in his memory to Great Dane
