Ronald Henry Lowry, 86, of Virginia Beach, native of Pembroke NC, left us to join his heavenly family on October 5, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sonya Downs Lowry; daughters Cynthia West, Janice Lantrip, and Michelle Lee; grandchildren Bryce and Kyndall Wardlaw, Christopher Mandigo, Nathan, Katie and Alex Lantrip; siblings C.B. Lowry, Dr. Murrill Lowry and Barbara Conner. He is predeceased by brothers Marvin, Curliss and Tolbert.
A celebration of his life will be held 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 10th at Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Rd., Virginia Beach. Burial will be private, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
