Rosary at 10:30 am, Saturday, February 4, 2023 followed by a funeral mass to be held 11-12 noon, Saturday, February 4, 2023 with Father Victor Hernando officiating, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Visalia CA. Burial will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are by Miller’s Memorial Chapel.
Aaron was born in Manila, Philippines to Enrique Franco Ruiz and Dolores Flores Velasquez on July 1, 1929. He married Araceli P. Mediran on March 22, 1954 in Manila, Philippines. He graduated from Adamson University, Philippines . He was a City Counselor for the City of Baguio, Philippines for eight years. He was involved in Lions’ Club Philippine Chapter, The Catholic Family Movement, Rotary Baguio Chapter, leader of the Knights of Columbus Baguio Chapter and Baguio PICAG, action group and Curcillo, Baguio Chapter.
Aaron is preceded in death by his parents Enrique Franco Ruiz and Dolores Flores Velasquez, his siblings Eduardo Velasquez Ruiz, Diego Velasquez Ruiz and Purification Ruiz Gutierrez, and granddaughter Angelica Rose Celine Ruiz Pamintuan.
Aaron is survived by his beloved wife Araceli Mediran, his first daughter Maria Arleen Ruiz Guinto, husband Jose Tolosa Guinto and children Diane Ysabel, Andrea Elaine and David Xavier; his only son Aaron Mediran Ruiz, wife Rowena Hemedes and their children Miles Gabriel and Mark Nathaniel; second daughter Maria Angeli Ruiz Pamintuan, husband Philbert Esperas Pamintuan and children Philip Robert Raphael, Paulo Rodrigo , Allyana Therese; youngest daughter Maria Victoria Ruiz Elazegui, husband Nonato Herrera Elazegui and children Nathane Velle, Nathaniel and Noemar ; and his sole living sister Dorothea Ruiz Lombos.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Mediran Ruiz, Miles Gabriel H. Ruiz, Mark Nathaniel H. Ruiz, Philbert E. Pamintuan, Philip Robert Rafael Ruiz Pamintuan, Nonato H. Elazegui, Nathaniel Ruiz Elazegui, and Noemar Ruiz Elazegui
