Amanda Giffen

Amanda Giffen passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2018. Amanda was the daughter of Price and Joann Giffen. She was severely disabled from birth, but she had a wicked sense of fun, a love of music, puzzles, car rides and sweets. Her needs inspired her parents

to contribute to the ARC in Fresno, especially to Kelso Village School. Amanda was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Russell; her sister, Sarah, and her niece, Samantha Stevens. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Leslie Giffen; her sister, Augusta Giffen; her brother-in-law, Clifford West; her brother, Christopher Giffen; her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Darla Giffen; her sister, May Stevens; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Amanda's family gives special thanks to the staff of Porterville Developmental Center; to Jessica Martin of the Central Valley Regional Center; and to Amanda's caregivers from the Ambitions Mae Carden Home, Mandy, Cierra, Domici, Erik, Jessica,Miriam, and Paty. A private family ceremony will be held at Belmont Memorial Park.
