

Aznive Alice was born in Reedley, CA on November 22, 1910, the eldest daughter of Nazley (Choboian) and Nazareth Noroian. Her childhood years were spent on the family farm and she attended school in Reedley.
On February 7, 1931 Aznive married Garabed (Charlie) Khachigian at First Armenian Presbyterian Church in Yettem, CA. Their first home was in Visalia and in 1941 they moved to the Dinuba area where they continued farming.
In 1981 Alice moved to the Tulare after her husband passed away, and in 1985 she purchased a home in town. She was the consummate homemaker and mother. She was a member of First Congregational Church, UCC, of Tulare where she met and became friends with her new “church family”. Their love and respect was a cherished gift.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her beloved siblings: brother Sam Noroian and sister Yeghnar (Eleanor) Canadian.
She is survived by her daughters Pat (Marvin) Aharonian and Sharon Gaebe; her precious grandchildren, Leslie (Greg)Jaramishian, Tim Aharonian, Gary Aharonian, Richard (Cindi) Aharonian and Jennifer Gaebe; her great-grandchildren,
"the loves of her life", Adriana and Eric Jaramishian, and Audrey Aharonian; also many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. S. Kuo, the staff of Twin Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Tulare, and to Optimal Hospice for the care given. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the First Congregational Church of Tulare, 220 W. Tulare Ave., Tulare, CA, or the charity of choice.
A service will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel,1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA on Wednesday,
December 8, 2010, at 10:45 a.m.
