On May 3rd 2020 Billie Marie Souza got her wings and went to fly with the angels at 94 years of age.She was born in Lexington Oklahoma in 1925. Billie better known as Ranky to her family and close friends moved to California with her mother and sister at 15 years of age. Billie was the mother of two children, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. However many people consider Billie as their grandmother as well. Billie better known as Ranky to her family and friends didn't share the dream of many when moving to California of become a star. Her dream was to get married and have children yet anyone who knew her knew that she was a star in her family's eyes and that's all that mattered to her.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Floyd Joseph Souza and her son William "Rocky" Souza.
Ranky is survived by daughter Donna Marie Catlett. grandchildren Lindsey Marie Vejar, Kimberly Dawn Williams, Shawn Breeden, Devan Richardson, Caije Richardson, David Souza and Daniel Souza. Her great-grandchildren Brok Vejar,Chad Vejar, Brittney Diaz, Logan Richardson, Aidyn Richardson, Danielle Souza and Rebecca Souza. As well as her five great-great-grandchildren.
A private family burial will be held at Visalia Public Cemetery District on Monday May 11th 2020.
