She is survived by her son Jonathan Severns and his two children, Landon and Jaden Severns.
Blanche had a successful career in the restaurant business and was well known for her expertise in fine dining and catering. Some of the restaurants she worked at were The Lamplighter Inn, Michael's on Main Street, The Red Rooster, all of Visalia, Pea Soup Andersen’s of Selma, Harris Ranch, The Safari of Dinuba, and La Piazza of Tulare.
A remembrance service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM, at The Lamplighter Inn in Visalia in the dining room. The family requests that all flowers and cards be sent to The Lamplighter Inn C/O Dennis/catering.
