Charles Sylvester went to meet the Lord at the age of 82 surrounded by his loving wife in Porterville, California on July 5, 2021. He was born on June 3, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Emil C. and Elsie (Heiser) Sylvester.
Charles is survived by his wife Jessie Ruth Sylvester; four sons, Steven, Danny, David and Johnny, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291 on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 608 North Church Street, Visalia, CA 93291 on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 10:30am.
