Daniel Wayne Smith

Mr. Smith was born on April 18, 1961 in Westminster, CA. Dan joined the Navy right out of high school and did several tours sailing on the USS Kittyhawk, the Independence, the Forestal, and the Constellation. When he left the Navy, he started a career with IBM and later became an IT Manager for Bowsmith Inc. In his spare time he enjoyed working as a Disc Jockey and videographer and developed it into DDTCMAN Productions which became a successful business.

Mr. Smith is survived by his Papa Bruce Huddleston, his wife, Leah Smith, his son, Richard Smith, step children, Tierney, Logan, and Lilllian Cassidy, grandchildren, Michael Martin, Sophia, and Claire Smith, and siblings, Cheryl Cook, Sharon Turl, Jeanette Vollmer, and Randy Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Smith will be cremated on May 27, 2017. A memorial will take place on May 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Gateway Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Smiths’ life as he enters his new guchin’ adventure.
