Diane Gail Morgan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 71. Diane will be remembered for her loyal, loving, giving, and caring spirit, as well as her kind heart and the compassion she showed to everyone who knew her. Her faith in God guided her throughout her life and was a source of strength, comfort, and peace.
Earlier in her life, Diane worked as an aide for special-needs children, was a hairdresser after completing cosmetology school, and a bookkeeper for the family businesses. Diane had been retired for many years, and her greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife, mom, grandmother and friend.
Outside of work, Diane found happiness in the simple things she loved most. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, and reading, and she especially loved spending time with her family. One of her greatest pleasures was cheering on her grandchildren at their games, watching them rodeo, hearing about school and believing in their dreams. Diane’s life centered around the people she loved, and she never missed an opportunity to support and encourage her family.
Diane was preceded in death by her father, James Rudd; her mother, Aileen Rudd; her brother, Carl Rudd; and her father-in-law, Ronald Morgan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Morgan; her mother-in-law Faye Morgan; her son, Matthew Morgan, his wife Stephanie Morgan, and their children Sophia Marroquin and Gauge Morgan; her daughter Shannyn Rico, her husband Matthew Rico, and their children Bo Rico and Cash Rico; her sister Denzel Jolliff; her niece Tobi Huizar; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will continue to cherish her memory.
Diane will always be remembered for her kindness, unwavering faith, loyalty, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and in the family she loved so deeply.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at the Ritchie Barn at 16338 Avenue 308, Visalia, CA 93292 on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 11:00am-2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to stay following the service for lunch and a time of remembering and honoring her life together.
