

Domingo Riojas De Leon was born on November 12, 1933 in San Marco, Texas to Emilio and Pacida De Leon. He went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Domingo served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He and his wife, Anselma, came to Visalia 24 years ago. He was an Automobile Salesman for many years. He was also a bakery manager for Rainbo bakery in Lubbock, Texas for several years. Domingo was known as “Sonny” to many of his friends and was known to visit Sunrise Community Church in Tulare.
His hobbies included restoring classic cars as well as Bingo and visiting friends at the Visalia Senior Center.
Survivors include his wife, Anselma De Leon, Visalia; sons: Abel De Leon from Oxnard, Adam and Robert De Leon, both of Visalia, Antonio De Leon and Angel De Leon, Lubbock, TX; daughters: Yolanda Martinez, Anita De Leon and
Rebecca De Leon from Lubbock Texas, and Beatrice De Leon of Visalia. He has three siblings in Lubbock, Texas. Two sisters, Josephine Ordonez, Delfina Smith: One brother Mike De Leon. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Visitation is being held at Miller Memorial on Tuesday 2-6:30 p.m., Miller Memorial in Visalia.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at 6:30 p.m., Miller Memorial Chapel with Funeral Services on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, 10 a..m. at Miller Memorial. Graveside will follow at Visalia District Cemetery.
