Donna Williams, 57, a lifelong resident of the Porterville-Strathmore area, died on Saturday in Porterville. Donna was born on May 9, 1958 in Santa Barbara to the late Billy McCowan and Nellie Thomas McCowan. A graduate of Strathmore High School, she was a licensed cosmetologist for over 37 years, a homemaker for 32 years, and a member of the Porterville First Southern Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Mike Williams and daughter Alexandra Williams, both of Porterville.
A Celebration of Donna's life will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at 10AM at the Porterville First Southern Baptist Church. Burial will follow at a later date in Woodville Cemetery.
Remembrances in Donna's memory may be sent to the Tule River Tribal Council, Language or Beading Department, 340 N. Reservation Road, Porterville, CA 93257.
