Students would still contact her over the years, and she loved to hear how they were doing. She proudly posted pictures and cards they would send.
Ellen was a loving mother, loyal friend, and wonderful sister. She was always available to sew anything anyone needed from a simple button to a surfboard cover for a brother to window coverings for her daughter and son-in-law’s business. She was also the neighbor that everyone loved to talk to while she walked her dog. After retiring she enjoyed working in her yard, going to the gym, and having lunch with her friends.
Ellen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Tim Collier, bonus grandchildren, Kailee and Corey Collier, brothers David, Dennis, and Philip Pearson, and many other family members who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her rambunctious lab Finnegan, who brought her so much joy over the past five years.
She passed away peacefully in her home of 47 years surrounded by her family and photos of all the dogs she has loved throughout the years.
