Shorty was born on January 5th, 1972, to his parents Isabel Rodriguez and Jesus Medrano of Hanford Ca. Shorty was a very outspoken, always hear me type of guy. He was a big family man who loved a get together and having everyone around. He was the type of man who no matter what you needed; he was your go to guy. Shorty would go on to have three children. He was the type of father who showed us no matter what he would always have our back. He always supported us to go after our dreams and taught us we can achieve anything we set our minds to. He was his children’s biggest supporter and loudest cheerleader.
Shorty is predeceased by his father Jesus Medrano, his childhood best friend Michael Yates and many more who’ve passed before him. He is survived by his mother Isabel Rodriguez (Ray Gonzales), his children Monique (Jermiaha), Summer (Journey), and Reignen Medrano. His brothers Raymond Medrano, Sean Medrano (Jennifer), Nickelas Medrano, and his sister Jessica Medrano all of Hanford and a brother Tony Medrano of Anchorage, Alaska. Shorty leaves behind many cousins, nephews, nieces, family and friends. He was a great father, son, brother, and friend. Shorty will be deeply missed by all those who loved him and who he loved as well. This isn’t a goodbye, it’s a see you later.
