George Ervin Phillips

He is survived by his daughter Beverly and husband Michael Clausing of Conway, SC, brother Marvin and wife Lawanna Phillips of Visalia, CA, brother Ralph and wife Marian Phillips of Leander, TX; grandchildren Joshua and wife Nicol Dennewitz of Visalia, CA, Jared Dennewitz of Visalia, CA, David Anderson of Abilene, TX, Jennifer and husband Andrew Sullivan of Visalia, CA; five great-grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. George is preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Palafox in 2015, grandson Drew Anderson in 2016, as well as his father, mother, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a nephew.

Celebration of Life will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 9 a.m. Burial will be private. Following the service, family and friends are invited to continue George's Celebration of Life at the home of his nephew, Richard Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to either the Parkinson's or Alzheimer's Foundations.
