Gloria was born October 28, 1934 in San Angelo, Texas to Jose and Consuela Saucedo. Her family moved to Odessa, TX where she graduated from Odessa High School. She met the love of her life David L. Campos who was in the Air Force and stationed in San Angelo, TX. They married on July 17, 1955 in Odessa and then moved to Visalia, California. They started a family raising three children. For Gloria her family always came first. Even while working much of her life, she was a steadfast supporter of her family. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Visalia.
Gloria worked for JC Penney for many years, then Visalia Unified School District, where she retired after 20 plus years in 1997. Aside from working, she took pride in taking care of her home and yard. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling and taking care of her Grandkids every chance she could. Gloria is remembered as one who always had good advice and she touched everyone’s heart. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 60 years, David L. Campos, sons Roy Campos, Robert (Michelle) Campos and daughter Loretta (Christopher) Harmon. Grandchildren: Lindsey (Steve) Sargent, Kayla (Matt) Slocum, Ryan, Abigail, Jonathan, and Christopher Campos, and Loreal and Dean Harmon and five Great-Grandchildren.
A special “Thank you” to Linwood Meadows Staff for being there during Mom’s last year.
