James Klapperich

Following high school he served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Norma Jean Ramshaw on December 26, 1970. They were married for 34 years until her death in 2005. Jim worked for the US Postal Service for over 30 years. Following his retirement from the USPS he worked for Miller Memorial Chapel for a number of years. He was a longtime parishioner and usher of St Mary's Catholic Church in Visalia. Jim joined the Charter Oak Model A Club of Visalia in 1996. He was very proud of his 1931 Ford Model A car which his mother bought for him when he was in high school. He kept his car in pristine condition and was often seen in local parades.

He is survived by his sister Donna Jean (Klapperich) Morin; niece Stephanie Jean (Morin) Nigg; and nephews Peter Brendan Morin and Paul Brendan Morin.

A private graveside service will be held for family, close friends and invited guests on Friday August 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, California.
