Jay Xavier Rodriguez

Jay Xavier Rodriguez, 27, of Visalia, California passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015.Jay was born in Visalia, California on January 19, 1988 to Jesse F. Rodriguez and Linda Viscarra Rodriguez. He was raised and educated in Visalia, attending Gold Oak Elementary, Valley Oak Middle School and attended Golden West High School. Jay went on to attend Reedley College and received his certification in Mechanics and was self employed in the Visalia area. Jay married Sonia Vanesa Amador in Ivanhoe on August 26, 2010. Jay enjoyed working on cars, football and was an avid Oakland Raider fan, music, helping others , taking walks and just being outdoors. One of his greatest enjoyments in life was his two sons, Ezekiel and Xavier and times spent with his family. Jay will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Jay leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sonia Vanesa Rodriguez of Visalia; his sons, Ezekiel Jay Rodriguez and Xavier Matthew Rodriguez, both of Visalia; his parents, Jesse and Linda Rodriguez of Visalia; two grandmothers, MaryAnn Viscarra of Visalia and Mary Serrano of Dinuba; sister, Vanessa Rodriguez of Visalia and brother Victor Rodriguez and wife Tara Rodriguez of Visalia; and his nephew, Victor Rodriguez, Jr. of Visalia; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12 Noon at Walnut Grove Assembly of God, 32576 Road 160 in Ivanhoe, California.
