Jeannine Fine, 81, passed away in Porterville on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011. A resident of Porterville for 3 years, she was born in Canby, Minnesota on Dec. 5, 1929 to Oscar and Esther Warnes Foss. For many years Jeannine was a homemaker and also worked in food preparation with the Senior Nutrition/Meals On Wheels Program for 10 years. She is survived by her children: Kathleen Williams of Longmont, CO, Bonnie McCune (Patrick) of Denver, CO, Deborah Fine of Visalia, CA, John Fine (Julia) of Simi Valley, CA, Patricia Pike (Dennis) of Porterville, CA, Margaret Fine of Porterville, CA, and David Fine of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Peterson of Minneapolis, MN, and 54 grandchildren and great grandchildren. A family memorial service in Jeannine’s memory will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Jeannine’s memory to Helping Hands, 245 N. 3rd St., Porterville, CA. Arrangements are under the direction of Gary Giraudi, Manager of Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia.
