"Larry"
Larry left this world on March 1, 2012 at the age of 74 years. He was born on March 24, 1937 to Wes and Bessie Reeves in a house in Visalia, that he liked to brag, “that’s now in the middle of the freeway.” During his elementary school years, Larry’s family moved to Lemoore. He resided there throughout high school, graduating with the class of ’56.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda, three daughters; Robin Harrison of San Diego; Margo(Albert)Cervantes of Exeter; Beth Reyes of Red Bluff; one son; Mike Reeves of Exeter; one sister, Janet (Paul) Engs of Pahrump, NV; half sister Lorraine (Bill) Smith of Tustin, CA. He also leaves behind his nine grandsons; Joe (Christin) Gaona, of El Cajon, Adrian and Quincy Harrison, San Diego, Michael (Monica) Reeves and David Reeves, Visalia; Chris (Sarah) Cervantes, Exeter, Alex (Rebecca) Cervantes, Nick (Michelle) Cervantes, Lindsay and Micah Cervantes of Exeter. His three granddaughters, Michelle Reeves of Visalia, Elly and Estella Reyes of Red Bluff will also miss him. His five great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kaylee, Noah, Sienna and Crista were his pride and joy. He also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be missed by his many friends, including employees of Kaweah Delta Hospital, from which he retired from after 30 years, and all the people he entertained with his “stand-up” comedy act; little theater, dinner theater and any other place he could get a “gig”.
His body will be cremated and his ashes will be buried alongside his Mother, Bessie Fox.
A Memorial service will be held at the Pavilion located in the Visalia Cemetery on March 16th at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wish Project International or the Kings Players. Condolences may be offered at www.millerchapel.com
