

Delbert was born in Apache, Oklahoma on February 20, 1936 to Juanita Mulanax and
S. R. Malone. Delbert came to California when he was a toddler. Later on in life he left home settling in Tulare and Visalia. He had many trades in his early years and then opened Crazy Delberts, Santa Fe Station and Gloria’s Lounge & Casino. He was a member of the Tulare Elks, Moose Lodge, FMCA, and Good Sam’s Camper World. He enjoyed his travels in his motor home along with fishing, going to Yuma, Arizona, and most of all NASCAR,
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, S. R. Malone and Juanita Fuller; brothers, Jerry “Tyrone” Malone and Gary Malone; sons, Timothy Malone and Leslie Teeters. He is survived by his longtime companion, Helen Rogers of Visalia; daughters, Shirley Pope, Exeter, April Rogers, Prattville, Al; granddaughters, Kourtnee Pope, Exeter, Kelly Shultz, Colorado Springs, CO, Brooke Deates and Allie Rogers, Prattville, AL; grandsons, Kevin Pope, Jr., Exeter, Derek Deates, Prattville, AL; great-grandsons, Joshua Long, FL, Dylan Dean, Las Vegas, NV, David & Andrew Shultz, Colorado Springs, CO; sisters, Claudean Denny, Glendale, AZ, Arlene (Stan) Feher, Fresno; brother, Sam (Linda) Malone, Visalia; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services are being held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Visalia District Cemetery. Visitation is being held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 7, 2011, 2-7 p.m.
