

Lillian Mary Pimentel, age 81, of Visalia, California passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. STORY: Lillian was born in Hanford,CA to Sarah Rodriguez and Ralph Pimentel Sr. She attended Hanford Union High School in 1957, and later graduated from Galen Medical College with a Certificate in Nursing Assistance.
Lillian loved to read, fish and spend time with family. SHE WAS amazing in all. Lilian married Rudy Torres in 1964, and this would be the first loss of her life. She loved her husband, and his family, but being the resilient woman she was, she moved on with her life in the only way she knew. Lillian never forgot a birthday or milestone in her family. She was a Free Spirit and no one could tell her what she couldn’t do…She made everything look so easy.
She remarried in 1982 to.Freddie Taylor Jr. ,and had (2) children. They resided in Southern CA. Lydia in 1971 and Faye in 1973. She was a wonderful parent, with her emphasis on Education. She would lose another love of her life, Faye in 1977, from Neuroblastoma Cancer. It was devastating for the entire family, but Lillian continued to.hold strong for her family,and especially her daughter Lydia. Lillian forged forward, and although she and Freddie divorced, they remained friends until his passing in 2020. She also took on the care of her parents.
Lillian was the epitome of “ Strong Woman” and was always there to help her family in any way she could.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Eddie Zamora, Twin Sister Lydia Rivera, Brother Ralph Pimentel and Sister Ramona Pimentel, as well.as her daughter Faye Taylor.
She is survived by her Daughter Lydia Johnson , her Son in Law Rossie Johnson IV, Granddaughter’s Christina, Jasmine, Tiffany, Joi and Sandra…Great Grandchildren, Jayden, Samaya, Anthony and Suktaj. Brother Charles Pimentel, Sister Rose Marie Torres… a host of nieces and nephews as well as her Godchildren , Valarie Pimentel, Joanna Santana, Joshua Pimentel and Alyssa Torres. Lillian also remained close friends with her Sister in Law, Betty Herrera who was integral in her last life transition.
Lillian lived an adventurous life, full of love that will be tremendously missed.
