

Lois was born June 2, 1954 in Visalia, CA to Daniel and Eunice Denton. She was raised in Stone Corral outside of Woodlake on a farm; the oldest of 5 children. She was inspired to play the piano by her Aunt Eva and gained confidence from her Uncle Burton who encouraged her to perfect her shooting hoops and softball pitching. Their influence and encouragement had a huge impact on her and her success in life.
In High School she took a nursesaide course which led her to the job where she met her husband, Paul. They were married June 24, 1978 and they were later blessed with the birth of their daughter, Anna.
Lois attended Stone Corral Elementary School and Woodlake High School. She graduated from College of the Sequoias and West Coast Bible College. Following Paul’s death she attended Fresno State.
Lois was a gifted writer able to share the blessings of the Lord in her writings. Her published books: “Second Chance”, Paul’s story; “Living by Faith… with Empty Pockets”, her story.
After Paul’s deathLois reached her dream of becoming a teacher andtaught first grade for 14 years at the F. J. White Learning Center in Woodlake.
Following a one and a half year battle with cancer she died October 27, 2011 in Visalia, CA. Lois was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, sister in law, cousin, niece, teacher, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
