

Retired Farm Laborer
Born February 6, 1926 in Visalia he proudly worked the tierra and packing houses for 30 years to provide a better life for his family. He married his wife of 67 years, Maria Magdalena De Santiago, on May 1, 1947 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas. He loved caring for his cows and riding horses, spending time playing cards, watching golf and baseball, and being outdoors in the garden. He loved his trucks and taking long rides. He was dearly loved by his wife, Maria Carrasco; his five children, Antonio Carrasco (deceased); Connie Carrasco; Joe Carrasco; Amelia Carrasco and Mike Carrasco; and was the last remaining member of his nine siblings; brothers Timoteo Carrasco of Visalia; Refugio Carrasco of Visalia; Joe Carrasco of Delhi, Cornelio Carrasco of Fresnillo, Zacatecas; Antonio Carrasco of Mexico City; sisters Pola Covarrubias of Montebello; Reyes Orosco of Visalia; Guadalupe Carrasco of Fresno; Jennie Carrasco of Visalia; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Recitation of Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 North Court Street in Visalia on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow immediately at Visalia District Cemetery.
