Margaret Swain

Margaret Elizabeth Swain, of Visalia, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2012. Margaret was born to Albert and Mary Orr on July 22, 1917 in Beulah Michigan. Margaret is survived by her loving son, Aaron Swain, wife Lorraine, 4 Grandchildren, Jason, Kelly, Kristin and Ysabella, 2 Great Grandchildren, Justin and Alex, sisters Lillian and Florence, numerous nieces and nephews . Margaret was preceded in death by the love of her life Aaron Swain Sr., her brothers Albert, Ellis and Gene Orr. Margaret’s early years were spent in Michigan, in 1959 Margaret and her husband relocated to Anaheim California to own and operate the Peter Pan Motor Lodge next to Disneyland for 22 years. After which they spent several years traveling the country in a wonderful motor home, finally residing in Visalia next to her son for the past 30 years. Margaret spent many years volunteering in different capacities. She will be greatly missed as she was always there for her family and friends should they need anything at all. There will be no services in Visalia, services and burial will be in Homestead Michigan next to her husband in September on a beautiful day as per wishes. Thanks to the wonderful Hospice nurses and the staff at Delta Rehabilitation Nursing Facility for their wonderful care. The family asks that remembrances be made to the donors favorite charity.
