Maria Xochitl Lara

Maria Xochitl Lara, Age 47 left us to be with the Lord on May 4th, 2011. Xochitl was born in Exeter, Ca on January 14th 1964. She was raised in Visalia, Ca. Xochitl attended and Graduated from Exeter Union High School in 1982.

Xochitl was an amazing daughter, sister, mother and friend. She definitely enjoyed her word searches and fill ins. She loved spending time with her family, movie dates and sleepovers with her grand children. Xochitl will be best remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her smile and laugh will be with us always, She will be dearly missed.

Xochitl is preceded in death by her Mother Ernestina Alcantar, a Sister Guadalupe Lara and a Nephew Steve Lara all of Visalia, Ca.

She is Survived by her Father Esteban Lara, Children Adrian Prado and Andrea Prado. Brothers; Mike Alcantar, Kenny Alcantar, Tony Alcantar and Ernesto Alcantar. Sisters; Irma Alcantar, Veronica Estrada, Christina Molina and Elizabeth Lara-Sosa. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Great nieces and nephews. Grandchildren Alyssa Prado, Adrian Prado Jr. and Aaliyah Valdez. Xochitl will also be greatly missed by many other friends and family members.

Visitation will be from 9-10AM and Services will begin at 10AM on Thursday, May 12th 2011 at Miller Memorial Chapel of Visalia, Ca. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.millerchapel.com under direction of Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia Ca.

A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 6:00pm at Miller Memorial Chapel.
