Maria Martinez

Maria Trinidad Martinez passed away on April 11, 2026, in Visalia, California. She was 91 years old. She was born on June 18, 1934, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She is the middle child of Aurelio and Maria Consuelo Rodriguez.

Maria met Jose and fell in love. They got married on November 15, 1949, and lived in Corpus Christi, Texas. Later moving to California and established a home in Ivanhoe, California. Maria was a devoted homemaker and loved taking care of her family. A devoted catholic and a member of San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Ivanhoe, California. A patron of various charities: The Little Flower Society, The Association of Miraculous Medal and St. Judes Shrine. She was passionate about cooking, gardening and sewing.

Her siblings, parents, husband Jose Aniceto Martinez, sons Pablo, Gilberto, Joe, Ricardo as well as daughter-in-law Isabel and son-in-law Colin J. Green have preceded her in death.

Maria is survived by her children: Juanita, Sofia, Frank (Michelle) Thomas, Gloria, Maggie, Javier, (Jenny), Isidra, Mary and Bertha. Her siblings: Francisca and Raymundo. Her grandchildren: Mia, MaryAnn, Mario, David, Eddie, J.R., Victor, Fernando, Hector, Gustavo, Alexis, Joshua, Christopher, Anthony, Nicholas, Daniel, Joseph and Angel.
