

Mary grew up in Visalia where she attended grammar school in Goshen and Visalia High School. She worked as a waitress in San Jose and was a caterer in Visalia. She loved square dancing, gardening, and helping others. Even when she was up in years, she was a housekeeper for many people and also did her own yard work.
Survivors include her daughter, Dolores (Jim) Vener, Arroyo Grande, CA; sister, Dorothy Halstead, Visalia; grandchildren: Chris Hollomon and Ken Hollomon both of Visalia; 1 great-granddaughter, Britnee Hollomon; brother-in-law, Glenn Rodgers, Hanford; sister-in-law, Loraine Bettencourt, Visalia; numerous nieces and nephews.
The Holy Rosary will be prayed on Sunday, August 8th, 6:30 p.m., at Miller Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 9th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Visalia District Cemetery.
