Mary Cerda

Mary was born on March 17, 1942 in Bernalillo, New Mexico. She was hard working, courageous and an inspiration to all, never losing hope, even up to her last days. Mary was a devout Christian who spent her life dedicated to and following the Lord.

Mary leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her six children whom she loved dearly: Francis Ramirez, Sara Rubio, Gloria Martinez, Pete Cerda, Kilo Cerda and Nicole Macias. She also is survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who all loved their "Grandma Mary" more that words can express.

In her healthy years, Mary loved to spend her time going for long walks outside and shopping with her friends. She was an excellent cook, one of the many things her family will miss greatly. Her favorite book from the bible was Psalms, more specifically Psalm 23 --"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Wake services will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 4 p.m. at The Potters House, 230 N. Acacia in Woodlake, California followed by visitation at the church until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. also at the church. Burial will be at Woodlake Cemetery.
