Matthew Edward Porras Cuellar

Matthew was born on December 8, 1989 in Visalia, the son of Stephanie Cuellar Arthur and Johnny Porras. From the minute he was born, we all knew he was going to be a heart breaker, he was the cutest baby ever and he continued to grow into a handsome young man. He spent most of his childhood years growing up in Visalia. He later moved to Placerville Ca where he graduated from Union Mine High School in 2008. That same summer of 2008 he came back to Visalia where he met the love of his life Sharnae Cuellar. Shortly after, they started a family together in Placerville where they raised three gorgeous little girls and in early 2014 he moved his family back to Visalia and married Sharnae on March 19th 2014. He settled his family here and worked at Harris Ranch as a meat packer.

Matthew was his happiest when around family. He loved family gatherings and enjoyed watching his girls have fun with all their cousins. He adored his girls so much. He did absolutely everything for them and they adored him right back. Matthew was very playful with his kids and all his nieces and nephews; he loved to crack jokes all the time to put smiles on all our faces. Matthew had one of those smiles that was contagious and can light up a room. His oldest daughter Angelina has his smile and we are so blessed that we can continue to see him through his baby girls. Matthew worked hard to support his family and everything he had and did was always for his wife and children. If his family was happy, he was happy. He will be greatly missed by so many as our lives will never be the same without him and our hearts will be forever torn.

Matthew is survived by his three beautiful daughters Angelina, Ava, and Nevaeh Cuellar all of Visalia; his parents Stephanie Cuellar Arthur of Placerville and Johnny Porras of Oregon; his brothers Johnny (JP) , Christopher, and Levi; his sisters Marina and Alyssa; and his paternal grandparents Patricia Cuellar and Elaine Porras.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sharnae Cuellar; and his grandfather Jesse Cuellar.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1129 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
