Mildred Davis born February 13, 1934, in Oneida, Arkansas. Her father Jeff Smith and mother Tennessee Smith. Mildred lived in Visalia for 30 years. Mildred passed away in home on November 15, 2011 after a brief illness. Mildred was survived by two daughters, Joyce Bingham of Hanford, California and Eva Bradley of Lancaster, California, and a son, Willie E. Smith. Mildred had seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mildred was employed by Visalia Unified School District as a bus driver for 33 years where she retired and was able to travel with her husband of 28 years, Leonard Dale Davis. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and gardening. All of her family members and friends enjoyed receiving their Christmas slippers each year.
