

Phyllis Ramirez, a beloved and compassionate soul, passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on July 16, 1954, Phyllis was a devoted and kind-hearted resident of Farmersville, California. Her life was marked by her generous, humorous, and inspirational spirit.
Phyllis graduated from Exeter High School and dedicated her life to her family and community. She was a devoted housewife who volunteered at the Bethlehem soup kitchen, taught religious education for 20 years, and participated in Eucharistic and jail ministry. Her faith and resilience were evident in her lifelong commitment to these causes.
Phyllis was born to Esther Santos and Aurelio Santos and was married to Eufracio Ramirez. She is survived by her son Phillip Ramirez, daughter-in-law Patricia Carrillo, and granddaughters Jaqueline Valero Carrillo, Gemma Valero Carrillo, and Diana Ramirez Carrillo. Her daughter Esther Ramirez, son-in-law Carlos Carrillo, grandson Aiden Carrillo, and granddaughters Mariah Julie Garcia-Ramirez, Carli Carrillo, and Eva Carrillo also cherish her memory. Her daughter Marie Hays, son-in-law Derek Hays, and grandson James Hays remember her with love. Phyllis was also survived by her sisters Leticia Delgado, Gabriela Santos, and Lorena Santos, and her brother Jose Santos. She was preceded in death by her parents Esther and Aurelio Santos and her brother Aurelio Santos Jr.
Phyllis was the best cook, and she loved sharing her culinary creations with others. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, baking, and praying. Her legacy will be remembered through her cherished food recipes and the joyful silliness of her grandchildren. Phyllis valued attending Mass and treasured the love and support of her family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to friends and family who brought food and good spirits during Phyllis's final moments, allowing her to live them happily and peacefully. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held as follows: Visitation will take place at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, California, on January 28, 2026, starting at 5:00 pm, with a Rosary service at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 417 North E Street, Exeter, California, on January 29, 2026, at 9:30 am. Committal Service will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery District, 1300 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, California, at 11:00 am.
Pallbearers will include Phillip Ramirez, Derek Hays, James Hays, Aiden Carrillo, Carlos Carrillo, Rafael Rivas, Vincent Ramos, and Refugio Ramirez.
