

He was the son of Ralph Lee Seals and Suzie Mary Williams, born July 15, 1930 in Sultana, California. On July 5, 1949 he enlisted in the Unites States Navy where he served as a Boiler man on the USS Jarvis. He was honorably discharged June 29, 1953 as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. Ralph married Bessie Carolyn Thompson January 27, 1952. They are both survived by their 4 children and their many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Ralph was a passionate singer, songwriter, poet and a man of many talents. One of his works included the song "The Living Dead" along with his poster thanking and commemorating our veterans, who are currently serving, those who have served or have paid the ultimate sacrifice, for the country he loved. He worked for the Gas Company for 30+ years on the maintenance crew. Ralph was known to many by his works and had become a respected man within our community. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed by so many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia.
