Robert Bruce Lauck
Robert Bruce Lauck was born in Elyria, Ohio on June 8, 1937 and passed away October 20, 2018 in Visalia, California. He was the son of the late John A. and Emily M. Lauck.
He attended Ohio State University where he studied engineering and art. He graduated with high honors (cum laude) from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana.
From 2009 to 2016 Bob was a consultant in the hydraulic engineering business. His expertise in hydraulic engineering was highly regarded amongst his peers. The majority of his consultant work was with Ventura Hydraulics in Ventura, CA. Like his late father, John – Bob had many patents in hydraulic engineering.
His professional career in hydraulics included the following companies – Whirlpool, Eaton, Paul Monroe, Poclain, Zemarc and Hydraforce.
Bob was quite an accomplished artist. His specialty was in oil painting. He had a real talent for drawing and painting the human figure. He loved auto racing. I believe when he was of a very young age he and his brother John A. built some race cars. Of course, the Indianapolis race was a favorite. He also enjoyed boating and had participated in some marathon running races.
In 1965 Bob married Josephine A. Capovilla and had two sons – Robert P. Lauck and John A. Lauck.
In 1988 Bob married Heli Parratt and they resided in San Juan Capistrano.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John A. Lauck, his sister Diane C. Kraisner and brother-in-law Robert L. Kraisner, step-son Brandon Hough and daughter-in-law Paula Lauck.
Bob is survived by his wife, Heli of Visalia, CA, his step-daughter Michelle Morgan of Naples, FL and her three daughters, his brother James P. Lauck (Kenneth R. Reed) of Otsego, MI, son Robert P. Lauck of Battle Creek, MI, son John A. (Debbie S.) and granddaughter Madelynn U. Lauck of Augusta, MI. Also surviving is the mother of his sons Josephine A. Lauck of Battle Creek, MI.

Lauck and John A. Lauck. In 1988 Robert married Heli Parratt and they resided in San Juan Capistrano, California. Bob spent most of his professional career in hydraulic engineering. He had worked for Whirlpool Corp., Eaton Corp, Paul Monroe Corp, Poclain Corp, Zemarc Corp and Hydroforce Crop. His patents in the area of hydraulics attests to his brilliance in engineering. Bob also enjoyed following the Indianapolis auto races, boating, marathon running and was an accomplished artist. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John A. Lauck, his sister Diane C. Kraisner and brother-in-law Robert L. Kraisner, step-son Brandon Hough and, daughter-in-law Paula Lauck. He is survived by his wife Heli of Visalia, California; his step-daughter Michelle Morgan of Naples, Florida and her three daughters; his brother James P. Lauck (Kenneth R. Reed) of Otsego, Michigan; son Robert P. Lauck of Battle Creek, Michigan; son John A. (Debbie S.) and grand-daughter Madelynn U. Lauck of Battle Creek, Michigan.
