Ruby Ellen England

Ruby was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on August 21, 1924 to Dewey and Grace Ashford. At the age of seven, Ruby came to Visalia with her family. She married Louis (Dig) England in February of 1941. To this union was born five children - Verlin, Rhonda, Marlene, Clorinda, and Teddy.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Dig and sons, Verlin and Teddy and grandson, Joey Clayton.

Ruby is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Luna (Russell), Marlene Howerton (Bob) and Clorinda Clayton (Richard); 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, brothers, sister, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5 – 8 pm. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, California. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Visalia District Cemetery.

A potluck reception will follow at the Evangelical Free Church, 1305 W. Main Street in Visalia, CA.
