Sally Macias Pineda

VISALIA. Soledad (Sally) Pineda was born March 24, 1929 to Joe F. Pineda, Sr. and Maria Macias Pineda in Visalia, California. She passed away in Visalia on December 21, 2021 of complications as a result of a fall. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Nico Pineda and her sister, Connie Ortega. Sally was born and raised in Visalia where she attended Carrie Barnett School, Webster School, Sierra Vista Junior High School and graduated from Visalia Union High School.

Sally leaves behind her brother, Joe F. Pineda, Jr. (Audrey) of Visalia; two sons, Michael Rubalcaba (Darlene) of Farmersville and Ronnie Pineda (Linda) of Visalia. She had three granddaughters; Sally Pineda, Frances R. Allan, Andrea R. Carrasco and three grandsons; Aaron Pineda, Michael Rubalcaba, Andrew Alvarez; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren born of the love she gave willingly, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you Grandma Sally for the love you have given us all our lives.

We know Sally is at peace and she has taken a piece of our hearts with her, but she left a piece of her heart with us. We are all thankful to have known and loved her.
