WEST COLUMBIA - Betty Jo Catoe Lovett, 74 was born March 24, 1938 in Kershaw County, South Carolina and passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Liston Catoe and the late Lillie Belle Catoe. Betty was a very hard working and dedicated mother as well as best friend to many. Betty will be remembered by her garden of flowers and her love to travel. She was always ready to go with her bags packed and a bouquet of flowers and had retired from the floral industry.
Betty is survived by her children, Delores Pitts (Jim) of Wagner, Alan Lovett of West Columbia, Vickie Lovett-Bickley (Bruce) of Cayce, Anthony “Tony” Lovett of Gaston; grandchildren, Patricia Carrington, Sabrina Kelly, Brian Lovett, Alyse Cousins, Renee Lovett and Joseph Ryan Lovett and six great grandchildren. Betty is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.
Betty’s family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
