GASTON - Bobby "Joe" Johnson, 68, of Gaston, passed on Friday, September 22, 2017.
Born on January 13, 1949 in Marion, he was a son to Walter and Emily Johnson. Bobby was a jack of all trades but was a mechanic by heart and in trade.
He was married to Rose Marie Johnson for 45 years, and had three children, Dewaine Johnson, Randy Carter Johnson, and Corey Johnson; grandfather to seven and great-grandfather to eleven. He was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Johnson and sister, Patricia Rabon and is survived by a brother, Larry Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation for Bobby will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at Southland Chapel, also at 820 West Dunbar Road.
