Chris and I have been friends and coworkers for many years and Chris had a way of making everyone smile and/or laugh with his never ending humor. Chris was like my little brother and said quite often that I was like his big sister. There wasn't anything that I wouldn't do for Chris or that he wouldn't do for me. We worked the road together in South Region for several years and we always knew that we had each others back no matter what we were walking into. Chris will never be forgotten. My apologizes for not being at the veiwing or the funeral, but i have been out of town all week. Sending prayers to Ray, Mary, Pat, Kaity-Bug and Carol.

Mary, Ray & Patrick - Danny and I were so shocked to hear about Chris, and even though we have not seen each other much since we moved away from the old neighborhood, I still consider you all part of our family. I remember fun days spent swimming in the pool like it was yesterday, and "THE SAVE" Chris made pulling Adam up from the bottom of the pool. The last time I saw Chris, he came to the house after his shift, and I didn't recognize him in his deputy uniform. Even though he had grown into a handsome young man, I could still see him with that gash on his chin after taking a pretty nasty tumble on his bike when he was around 10. We had fun talking about our memories of living on the cul-de-sac, and catching up with the years that had gone by. I am so sorry he was taken so soon, but I guess the good Lord decided he needed him home.

May God bless you all, and may all the wonderful memories comfort you. Chris will be missed by us all. We still love you, and will keep you in our prayers!!

Today we would normally be riding into work together and you would of course tell me that my driving was terrible. LOL I just loved how you would always "hold on" when I was driving! This just isn't fair. We had so many plans. Marriage was our next step and couldn't wait to be able to call you my husband. I truly am blessed to have met you and had the time I had with you! I will always love you honey and there is not a day, minute or hour that goes by that I don't think about you. I just want you to know that I will be at Katelyn's graduation and I know you will be right there also. Well I will see you later Baby. I love you so very much and miss you like crazy! I was saddened to hear of Chris' passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Chris was a joy to be around and will be missed greatly.

It is still so hard to believe that Chris is gone. He was so young, so playful and his smile always lit up the room. We worked the same shift rotation in the very late 1990s -early 2000's I saw him most days we worked. When I was the detective SGT in the south we would see each other at Judge Shockley's.  His presence will be missed greatly and I pray for his family, friends, daughter, and Carol. I'm sure he is still making everyone around him smile. Rest In Peace

My thoughts and prayers are with the Fields family. In the three years I knew you and we spent together, I learned how much family meant to you. I have thought about your family everyday since your passing. I will forever cherish the memories we made like when we met the first day and you were nervous asking for my number and spilling bottled water all over me, to laughing at me when I told you I was a badge bunny, to when you were promoted to detective, and we were together and you gave me a business card in case I forgot you were a trained professional, to turkey shoots where you won bc you were a cop, to our first date at the movies and you making everyone in the theater laugh, hanging out with your cop buddies at your house and watching your dash cam videos, to numerous trips to the Blockbuster down the street then later to redbox when Blockbuster closed, to you spending time with my family and friends, for your love of walmart and takeout bc you knew I couldn't cook but you always ate all of my tacos, to my college graduation night from USC spent with you, to always surprising me with your knowledge of your surroundings with street names before we passed them while driving, to just being you. Even though I haven't seen you since October, it still feels like yesterday when we were creating all of these memories that I will cherish forever. I am glad you met someone who cared for you and loved you as much as I did. I know your spirit is with us and you will continue to watch over us. Knowing that puts a smile on my face and helps me get through each day. Love always "der der" or as your parents called me "fast talker".

To the family of Chris, I would like to say I truly enjoyed him as a great co-worker at Westinghouse Electric Company. He will truly be missed for his sense of humor he always made me smile. I know that God loves him best. He will truly be missed by me.

I can't believe you are gone. You made my life complete. I was finally able to love and laugh again! I just don't know how I'm gonna make it without you. I'm very blessed that God sent you to me. We had some great times and funny laughs! You always knew what to say to make me laugh. I just loved everything about you. Dear family of Chris Fields. It was my privilege to know mr Fields at Westinghouse for the years he worked there. Never a finer more conscientious officer (and my sergeant ) could you have found. We kept in touch after we both left the Westinghouse and had plans to meet this year. Now I'm saddened by the realization we won't have that opportunity.  My condolences to his family & friends. I wish you all could've known him during the time I did. I remember his very funny sense of humor. He could be droll & sarcastic, which was exactly why we laughed together. 
Those of you who spent time with him know how wonderfully funny he was. I enjoyed making him laugh as well. 

In all my time on earth I count Christopher Fields first and foremost a friend.

Every childhood memory I have of you are filled with smiles & laughter.  It seems like yesterday we were kids swimming, playing and having the time of our life.  Lord, please bring peace, laughter and smiles to the Fields family during this time of loss.  Chris may be gone & love but not forgotten.  Keeping sending your tears of joy, smiles as bright as the sun and love as the wonderful smell of flowers until we meet again someday.
