WEST COLUMBIA – Dennis Lee Geiger, 61, of West Columbia passed away quietly in his sleep on Saturday, October 3, 2015 with loved ones by his side after a long battle with liver disease.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Lexington Medical Center and Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC for their care and kindness and a special heartfelt thank you to Belinda Yonce who was with us every step of the way.
Mr. Geiger was born in Columbia, SC to Emma Lee Martin and the late Henry Ford Geiger on December 23, 1953. He was a graduate of Airport High School and was employed for 33 years by Apex Tool Group.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Linda; son, Scott Navarre (Angel) of Columbia; daughter, Kelly Perry (Vince) of West Columbia; mother of Cayce; sister, Belinda Yonce (Danny) of West Columbia; brother, David Geiger (Teresa) of Pelion; the lights of his life, his grandsons, Nick and Alex Perry and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Derrell; grandparents and many special aunts and uncles.
