LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Evan A. Shull, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 123 Faith Church Rd. Swansea, SC 29160.
Mr. Shull was born January 6, 1926 in Lexington County and passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was the son of the late Balyis P. Shull and Leora Long Shull. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church Masonic Lodge 119 in North, SC and served our country in the United States Army during WWII.
He is survived by his daughters, Betty Holt (Johnny) of Leesville, Susan Fulmer (David) of North, Sandra Strickland (Acia Lee) of North son, Tommy Shull (Brenda) of North; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gelena Rikard Shull; 3 brothers, DJ, Clarence and Preston; daughter, Linda Bundrick and his granddaughter, Melissa Strickland Rowell.
