WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Evelyn Barton, 80, of West Columbia, will be held Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hr. prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society, 107 Westpark Blvd # 150, Columbia, SC 29210.
Evelyn was born March 4, 1933 in West Columbia and passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013. She attended Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church and she loved working in the yard and planting flowers.
Evelyn is survived by her brother, Samuel Hare (Betty); children, Janet Long (Mike), David Barton (Sherree), Cheryl Barton and Bobby Barton (Gina); 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter
