GASTON – Funeral services for Gloria Jean Hall Wise, 78, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wise was born April 19, 1933 in Kanawha County, West Virginia and passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Hiram A. and Glenna E. White Hall. Mrs. Wise was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved hummingbirds.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her sons, David W. Nicholas of Gaston and Stephen M. Hughart of Edgewater, FL; daughter, Elizabeth A. Kirvan of Monetta; brother, Charles W. Hall of Kanawha County, WV; cousin, Gail Ann Snapp of Winchester, VA; four grandsons, one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter and many brothers and sisters, in-laws and nephews and nieces.
. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucious E. Wise; two uncles, Garrett White and Garnett White; her wonderful daughter-in-law, Cheryl Nicholas and grandchildren, Jamie and Laurie Wise.
