WEST COLUMBIA – A funeral service for Raymond Claude Osborne, 98, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Laurel Baptist Church The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Mt. Holly, NC
Mr. Osborne was born February 19, 1916 in Mortimer, NC to the late Frank Osborne and Sara Whisnant Osborne and passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014.
He is survived by his sons, Dennis Osborne (Nadine) and Melvin Osborne (Daphine); daughter, Mary Williams (Lloyd); 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased are his wife, Louise Osborne; sons, RC Osborne and Ronald Osborne and a daughter, Esther Belton.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
