Reese was born and raised in Columbia, SC and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. After the Navy, he had a long career in the grocery business and retired from Nabisco. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Clemson football. More than anything, he loved watching his grandsons play baseball. He rarely missed a game and his presence on the sidelines will be missed by many.
Mr. Brunson is survived by his wife, Nettie M. Brunson of almost 51 years; daughter, Tina and son- -in-law, Travis Price; grandsons, Brunson and Cooper; sisters, Marsha Guardala (Tom) and Jayne Robbins (Donald) and brother, Richard Brunson. He was predeceased by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Family will be receiving friends immediately following at his daughter’s home.
